Olng’arua School hosted a day of song, food and collective commitment to stop all forms of violence against women and girls. A horrific local case of FGM, in which a six month old baby girl nearly lost her life, led to members of the community coming together for this event. It was a celebration of women and girls and a recognition of their equal value in society.
