Who remembers the day that elephants came for tea at Olng’arua school? After months of hard work the children were very sad when elephants ate or trampled most of the vegetables they had been growing.
Now, thanks to some generous support, we have an electric fence to protect the vegetables. In this time of covid our little community needs its vegetables (and vitamins) more than ever.
