Well not quite, not entirely unreachable but not far from it. I don’t know why but for months now we have been unable to get a mobile signal at our home base, and mobile is also how we get internet. Olng’arua School doesn’t have mobile coverage either, nor do most of the other places we spend nearly all our time. We have become mostly unreachable via technology.
It works both ways though, we can’t reach out to anybody else either. We normally keep up regular posts about the Olng’arua School and DARE activities on our Facebook page, but I don’t think we’ve managed more than 2 or 3 posts since December.
However, I have been in Scotland for the last few weeks and have been busy using the internet to put the latest news and photographs up on this site. Jonny, who built the site (big, huge, thank you to Jonny for this and all the years of technical help), is also sending me back to Kenya with some techie kit that will hopefully help us get back online again.
So, watch this space for regular updates…..
