The New Kitchen

Olng'arua School|Emma|September 7, 2016
The new kitchen

We started the new term at Olng’arua with the excitement of our new kitchen. Truly it is wonderful. It has 3 sinks with taps and actual running water, it has a fuel efficient stove, it has space and it is weather proof. It is all round so amazing that there has been a fairly non stop stream of people coming to see it from far and wide in the community. The staff love it and the children love it. We all want to be playing….. erm I mean working… in it. The cook has never had so much help with the washing up!

We were only able to build this great kitchen because of the continued help and support from our dear friends at the Primrose Trust. We can’t really thank you enough for all you have done for the school, but next time you come to visit we can assure you of a good meal!
