Once every term the Lewa Clinic visits Olng’arua School. When they come the give a short talk to the children on a useful health topic. The importance of washing your hands for instance, or of using a mosquito net. They also administer drugs for common ailments, such as eye infections or intestinal worms, and check each child for signs of other issues. If there are more serious problems they help the school and the parents to get the child the medical care it needs. We are extremely grateful for their visits.
