Hay for starving zebras

Olng'arua School|Emma|September 28, 2017
The Hay Arrived

This afternoon a lorry full of hay for the zebras arrived at the school. This was very exciting for the kids, both because they would be able to save more zebra, but also because it was a LORRY! We don’t see many lorries round here.

We are storing the grass where ever we can find space around the school. One of the storage places is the staff shower block. The staff don’t mind too much though, since the water ran out at the school several months ago there hasn’t been anything to shower with!

We continue to feed the zebra every day and we are slowly starting to see an improvement in their conditions. Thank you so much to all the people who contributed to buy hay for the zebra, and for giving the children in the school a chance to save these beautiful animals.
